Meet The Author

M.S. Ray, Mak, lives in Iowa with her partners and her two dogs. She writes stories with spicy romance, dark undertones and a focus on action. A lifelong storyteller, she fell in love with books at a young age. She always loved writing but started it seriously after her older brothers passing. Her pen name is even a nod to her brother—Ray being his middle name—because she would not have pursued becoming an author without his push to follow her dreams. When she’s not writing she enjoys reading romantacy, board games, and cuddling with her dogs. Mak is a queer, disabled writer who is passionate about mental health and harm reduction practices.
